This exciting concert brings together two innovative youth orchestras. The Simón Bolivar Orchestra is considered the pinnacle of Venezuela's youth orchestra program known as
El Sistema. During their current residency for the LA Phil's Mahler Project, the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela joins forces with students from YOLA for this unprecedented family concert.

The Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA), inspired by El Sistema, is an initiative of the Los Angeles Philharmonic to provide youth access to exceptional instrumental and orchestral education. Performing together, these two orchestras will present an evening that promises to inspire, enlighten and entertain.
