In recognition of the dedicated work of Catholic Health Care Professionals, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Mission Doctors Association invites all Catholic physicians and medical personnel to the celebration of the Mass for Healthcare Professionals on Sunday, October 12 at 3:30 PM. This special service is an opportunity to acknowledge the unique contributions made by all Catholic Health Care Professionals.

The entire legal community is invited to the 43rd annual Red Mass at the Cathedral on Tuesday, October 14 at 5:30 PM with Archbishop José H. Gomez. A tradition dating back to the 11th century, the annual Red Mass is widely attended by judges, lawyers and officials of all faiths so as to invoke God's blessing and guidance in the administration of justice. Every October, Peru dresses in purple in honor of the Lord of Miracles. The Peruvian community in Los Angeles and the Cathedral unite in celebration with the "Hermandad de Señor de Los Milagros" Mass taking place on Sunday October 19, 2025 at 3:30 PM. Following the Mass, faithful will process from the Cathedral to Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish (La Placita Church), home of an altar dedicated to the painted image of Jesus Christ, a replica of the original in Lima. Festivities will end with a Peruvian gastronomic festival at La Placita Parish.
