Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ's Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption. There will be five services on Ash Wednesday with the distribution of Ashes starting at 7:00 AM and are as follows:
ASH WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE – March 5, 2025
Ashes will be distributed during the following services:
7:00 am: Mass
8:00 am: Mass
12:10 pm: Mass
5:15 pm: Mass
7:00 pm: Misa en español - (Spanish)Sacrament of Reconciliation: Confessions on Ash Wednesday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.

PARKING: Free 90-minute validation will be available for all Ash-Wednesday Masses. All others, regular rates apply.
HOURS: Galero Grill Cafe: 8am-5pm; The Gift Shop: 10am-3pm.
LIVE STREAM: The Ash Wednesday Noon Mass will be transmitted via live stream at 12:10 PM for those who are homebound or from locations far away. Tune in on YouTube or Facebook @olacathedral.

Liturgical Services During Lent
The Cathedral will be holding special liturgical services during these 40 days of Lent, as we begin the annual rituals of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Join us on Fridays for the Stations of the Cross at 11:30am. Confessions will be offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of Lent at 11:00am. >> See Liturgical Services during Lent
