Become a Cathedral Associate
The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels is a significant religious, cultural and civil institution within our community. Since opening in September 2002, it's majestic beauty has inspired millions of visitors.
In addition to being an important civic landmark, the Cathedral has developed and funded many important ministries and programs benefiting not only the Cathedral parish, but also the greater Los Angeles community.
The Cathedral is funded entirely through the generosity of our donors, parishioners and visitors. We rely upon their steadfast support to maintain and grow our vital ministries and programs. Cathedral Associates play an important part by helping to assure the continuation of our wonderful mission.
There are three levels of Cathedral Associates: The Pastor's Council, the Bishops' Council and the Cardinal's Council. The Associates are entitled to a number of benefits that vary by level of giving. These levels of giving and the respective benefits are described in detail below:

Annual Minimum contribution of $1,000 - Chair: Pastor of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels
Cathedral Associates in the Pastor's Council level are entitled to the following benefits:- Advance notification and invitation to a variety of Cathedral special events and activities (including fine art exhibitions, concerts, festivals and more)
- 15% storewide discount in the Cathedral Giftshop.
- Recognition of your annual gift on the Cathedral Associates' Wall located in the lobby of the Cathedral Center, at the base of the grand staircase.
- Reserved seating at select holiday liturgies, including Christmas and Easter Masses, concerts, operas and special events.
- Associate members-only Advent and Lenten morning reflections in the Conference Center.
- A personal invitation from the Pastor to a 'members only' Evening Prayer in the Cathedral, followed by a hosted reception (Mardi-Gras) in the Conference Center.
- Daily remembrance for all benefactors in our prayers of gratitude.

Annual Minimum contribution of $2,500 - (Chair Rotates annually among the Auxiliary Bishops)
Cathedral Associates members in Bishop's Council level are entitled to the following special benefits:- A personal invitation from the annual Bishop's Council Chair to a members only Mass held in the St. Viviana Chapel followed by a Cathedral hosted dinner in the Cathedral Residence.
Plus all of the Pastor's Council membership benefits below:- Advance notification and invitation to a variety of Cathedral special events and activities (including fine art exhibitions, concerts, festivals and more)
- 15% storewide discount in the Cathedral Giftshop.

Annual Minimum contribution of $5,000 - Chaired by the Archbishop of Los Angeles
Cathedral Associates members in the Cardinal's Council level are entitled to the following special benefits:- A personal invitation from His Eminence, Archbishop José H. Gomez to a members only Mass held in the St. Viviana Chapel followed by a Cathedral hosted dinner in the Residence.
Plus all of the Pastor's and Bishops' Council membership benefits below:- Advance notification and invitation to a variety of Cathedral special events and activities (including fine art exhibitions, concerts, festivals and more)
- 15% storewide discount in the Cathedral Giftshop.
- Recognition of your annual gift on the Cathedral Associates' Wall located in the lobby of the Cathedral Center, at the base of the grand staircase.
