MISSIONARY CHILDHOOD ASSOCIATION Mass 2024

The Los Angeles Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) Mass will take place at the Cathedral at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 16, 2024.  The service will be presented live starting with a procession with students starting at 9:45am.

For this year’s World Mission Sunday, Pope Francis chose the theme, "Go and invite Everyone to the Banquet" As a church, we return our focus to the Eucharist as the source and summit of our faith.

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Mission Office hosts the annual liturgy to celebrate the contributions by local youth to help underserved children of the world.  The Mass will be attended by students, guardians and faculty from 36 Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese.  The MCA is one of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the U.S. that helps raise awareness among local children about their peers’ needs in countries with development disadvantages.   Available via livestream below.
