We invite you to honor your deceased loved ones by placing a framed photo of them on the Cathedral’s Dia de los Muertos altar located in the south ambulatory, from Thursday, October 26, to Thursday, November 9. Please do not use any original copies of photos, and the frame must not exceed 5x7 size.
We invite you to lift up in prayer your beloved dead and allow all of us to pray for them as well. For a donation of any amount, we will include the names of your loved ones, now resting in the arms of their Savior, in our Book of Remembrance. The Book of Remembrance will be kept, throughout the month of November, in the Cathedral Chapel of the Dead in the South Ambulatory of the Cathedral, and we will pray for those included in the Book of Remembrance at all of the Masses during the month. Stay connected with those who have gone before you and shower them with prayers and love! (THIS IS NOW ENDED)
CicLAvia—Heart of LA will take place on Sunday, October 15th from 9am-4pm. We expect minimal disruption, as access to the Cathedral will remain open on Grand, Temple and Hill for all Sunday Masses. Street closures will take place a block south on North Broadway. Click for details.
